Inkjet print on paper
2015
In the photographic series Re(x), viewers encounter imagery that is pulled directly from the Chashama’s 366 Gallery. Starting at sunrise on September 10th, 2015 a blank sheet of photographic paper was placed on a wall directly facing the gallery’s window. A photograph of the blank paper was taken, printed and re-photographed. The process continued throughout the day, every 20 minutes, until the sun set. Reflections of the artist, the changing atmosphere, visitors, and the city life outside the gallery’s windows were all faintly recorded and folded onto the surface of the prints. The resulting prints were then exhibited within the gallery space for the duration of the exhibition.
